He could see Damon rolling his eyes out of the corner of his. Which wasn't very surprising given that he seemed to have the affect on most. "Yes well, I have no friends and no life so it was either try to save you or take up knitting. And trust me I tried the knitting them but I'm pretty sure that sweaters aren't supposed to end up as a tangled ball of yarn."
Maybe he should take this all more seriously but really how could he? Damon wasn't one for gratitude and this was all a little too day time talk TV for him. "Yes well don't forget the part were the also killed the love of my life, now that was the real kicker."
He shouldn't be bring up move shit that Damon did to him but he couldn't help it. Enzo had every reason to leave Damon for dead but the man was still his friend. Damon may have given up on him but when Enzo set his mind to something he never stopped. If not for Damon the sacrifice needed for the spell to bring them back over from the other side would have failed. Damon had given his own life to bring them all back hoping that he would always be able to make it back and that gamble had not ended in his favor.
"Lets be honest mate, I would have never made the sacrifice that you did to. I owed you, we all did some of us just seemed to have forgotten." And by some he meant most given that everyone had stopped fighting.
